Biography

Lorraine Katharine Thielberg, age 93 of Itasca IL, passed away with peace and grace on Friday, October 19 in Tulsa, OK with her family at her side. Born on Valentines Day, 1925, she was raised in Chicago and lived her life to the fullest. Lorraine was embraced with love and friendship by everyone she knew and an inspiration to all. She was a beautiful woman who always had a smile on her face. She never met a person she didn’t like and always showed kindness and compassion to those she met. Lorraine’s pride and joy of her life were her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandson. She loved her dogs, gardening, being involved with her church and supporting many charities. The legacy of her kind spirit and zest for life will live on forever through all. Predeceased by her loving husband Ernest Thielberg in 1993; she is survived by daughters Lisa (James) Casperson of Colorado Spring, CO, Linda (Mike) Putze of Inola, OK and Sue (Ray) Haasis of Elgin, IL; her grandchildren Mike (Giovanna) Putze Jr., Megan (Zach) Hatter, Genevieve Haasis, Danny Haasis, Caitlin Casperson, Hailey Casperson, and great-grandson Camden Putze. Lorraine’s family would like you to join them in celebrating her life. Family and friends will meet Saturday, October 27 at St Peter the Apostle Church, 524 N. Rush Street, Itasca, IL for a Lying in State from 10:00 a.m. until the celebration of the Mass, 11:00 am. Interment at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, IL.
