Biography

Joe Aviles Sifuentes, 80, of Wood Dale, Illinois, died peacefully in his sleep on May 17, 2023. He was born in the town of Uvalde, Texas on April 4, 1943, he was the first child of Celia and Jose Sifuentes. Joe lived a humble life, with a loving heart and a want to live life to the fullest. He was kindhearted and generous; he would give his shirt off his back to those he loved and cared about. He was a friend to many. Joe is survived by his wife: Lucia; children: Debra, Denise, and Chris (Rosie) Sifuentes; grandchildren: Isabella (Paul) Damocles, Christian Sifuentes, Serena Napolitano, Ryan Hernandez, Sebastian and Sophia Sifuentes; siblings: Alicia Mansanarez, Delia Leal, Lilia Ramirez, Rose Boccia, Beatrice Sifuentes, Carmen Boccia and Rudy Sifuentes. Along with many nieces and nephews he loved dearly. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Ghost Church, 245 N Wood Dale Rd, Wood Dale, IL 60191 on June 3rd at 10:00am.
