Biography

LeRoy Schreiber April 12, 1926 - October 26, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth nee Korzep; Loving father of Carol Schreiber-Luoma, (Kim Luoma) of St. Charles, IL and Diane (Gary) Shine of Burlington, WI; Devoted grandfather of Nicole Luoma and Ashley Luoma and Rory Shine, Randy Shine, Jennifer Shine and Ryan Shine; Dear brother of the late William Schreiber (the late Dorothy). LeRoy was a retired 72 year member of Union Local 130. He was a Class of 1945 graduate of Steinmetz High School, Chicago. There will be a Celebration of Life held Thursday, December 27th, 10:00 a.m. - 12 Noon at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca.
