Biography

Edward W. Windle, 76, Milton, WI, formerly of Roselle, passed away at home Friday, February 19, 2016, surrounded by his family. Ed was born on March 27, 1939 in Chicago, to the late Edward and Catherine (Martin). He attended Foreman High School, graduating in 1957. He went into the Air Force National Guard for two years. Then he worked the rest of his 33 year career as a police officer for the City of Chicago, Wood Dale, Itasca, and Roselle. Ed was married to Patricia Ann Giese on October 26, 1963 in Bensenville. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Milton. Ed is survived by his wife, Patricia of Milton, WI; daughters: Susan (Richard) Paulauskas, Margaret Nott, Kathleen Holm; grandchildren: Liz. Megan, Michael, Patrick, Marissa, Matthew, Mary; great-grandchildren: Jensen, Lilliana; and many other friends and family. Visitation will be held at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca on Wednesday, February 24th from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at The Oaks Funeral Home on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Interment Saint Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
