Biography

Carmella T. Fagan (née Fonzino) was born in Chicago, IL, to John Fonzino and Marilyn Fonzino (née Martin). Carmella was a dedicated court reporter and activist. A beloved wife and mother, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Colin J. Fagan, and her two children Eilis M. Fagan (Colin Neumann) and Conor M. Fagan. Carm is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. In her memory, donations to Border Tails Animal Rescue or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital are appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, April 23 3:00-8:00 pm and Wednesday, April 24th 8:00 am until time of Funeral, 9:30 am at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E Irving Park Road (at Prospect) Itasca to Holy Ghost Church, Wood Dale.
