Biography

Sandra “Sandi” Ann Sobieski nee Condeles, age 81, of Chicago, Illinois. Survived by her loving and supportive husband of 44 years, Fred Sobieski; Loving mother of Jennifer (Jay) Shubert; Loving grandmother of Jessica and Joey Shubert. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Marie Condeles, and her brother John Condeles. She was a loving aunt to Chuck Condeles, Karen (Tony) Moy, and great-niece Michele, great-nephew, Brandon, Jimmy (Tammy) Condeles, great-niece, Emily. Sandi was a generous and caring person. She graduated from Siena High School in Chicago and worked as a supervisor for Zenith for 37 years. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, going to the casinos for fun, and was a fierce fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears. She had a strong faith and was dedicated to her church, Church of the Holy Ghost. Sandi volunteered in the office for 20 years. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Irving Park Rd, Itasca. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Holy Ghost 254 N Wood Dale Rd, Wood Dale. Interment following Mt. Carmel cemetery in Hillside, IL.
