Biography

Kathleen “Kathy” Carlin Born June 26, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. She grew up in Los Angeles with her loving parents Charles and Chloie Malone. Kathy met her husband Jack and moved to Chicago where she became a mom to her seven daughters, Deb, Donna, Cindy, Sue, Judy, Vicky and Kelly. Kathy volunteered extensively and later began a very successful career in sales, becoming the first woman to be featured on “Jobber Topic”, highlighting her accomplishments in automotive aftermarket sales. Kathy ultimately retired with Jack and spent her years enjoying time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Jack. She is survived by her daughters Deb (Rey), Donna (Dave), Cindy, Vicky and Kelly (Mike). She was preceded in death by her daughters Sue and Judy. She has 14 grandkids and 12 great-grandkids. A Memorial Visitation will be held in her honor on January 12th, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. with a service at 4:30 pm at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect). Itasca, IL.
