Biography

With heartfelt sadness and compassion the family of Jack Muscia is announcing that he went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Jack was 93 years old and just celebrated his 55th wedding anniversary with his wife Marilyn. Jack was born and raised in Chicago, where he spent his time surrounded by his family and friends. When he was young, he enjoyed living on the family farm; his job was to take care of the ducks, bunnies, and his favorite pet goat. He was a very loving man who brought Joy and Happiness to all that knew him. His priorities were Love of God and Family. Jack loved the Bible and his passion for life was evident in his gardens, time spent working on puzzles and making soup and baked apples with his grandkids. He was a dear friend to so many, always there to lend a helping hand, an ear to hear or a kind word of comfort. In addition to his Wife Marilyn Jack is survived by his Son Andrew, Daughter Rene, and Son Jeremy. He is also survived by his Son-in-law Joe and Daughter-in-law Enza. He was a proud Papi and Papa to Matthew, Jacob, Alex, Viviana, and Giacomo. Jack is also leaving behind his two sisters-in-law, Joanne and Frances and his brother-in-law Pat. Jack was preceded in death by his Parents, Giacomo and Rose, his Father and Mother -in-law Joe and Mary, his Brothers Leo and Joseph and Sisters May and Felicia. His Brothers-in-law Vic Sr, Sam and Vic Jr, and his Sisters-in-law Janette and Dolly. Jack also had countless nieces and nephews, some as close as siblings and friends from his church and neighborhood. We know he is rejoicing up in Heaven with his Lord and Savior and getting reacquainted with his good friends Danny, Vic, and Loretta. Jack’s family invites you to a service to celebrate his full and rich life on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Visitation from 1 pm – 3:30 pm with a Funeral Service beginning at 3:30 pm.
