Biography

Patricia Patterson Stoll died Tuesday, April 16th 2019. She grew up in the Quad Cities area with her parents, James and Melva Patterson and brother, Jim Patterson. After the untimely death of her husband, Charles “Richard” Stoll, Patricia went on to earn collage degrees to be a Registered Nurse and MSW from George Williams College. She worked for St. Thomas Hospice, private practice and volunteered extensively with the Red Cross and other emergency response and preparedness organizations. She was involved in relief efforts for the Los Alamos fires, Carolina’s flooding and Hurricane Katrina to name a few. Patricia is survived by her children, James R. (Bonnie) Stoll and Melissa A. Stoll and granddaughters, Amanda and Sarah. There will be a visitation on Monday, April 29th 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, April 30th 10:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at Saint Nicholas Episcopal Church 1072 Ridge Avenue, Elk Grove Village. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. The family would like to suggest that in recognition of Patricia's lifetime of volunteer work, in lieu of flowers, either donations or volunteering to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
