Biography

Janice Ann (Moore) Phillips, 70, of Addison passed away on June 6, 2019 with her loving husband John by her side. Janice was born to the late Richard and Mary Moore in Chicago. She married John L. Phillips in 1971 where they lived in Northlake before moving to Addison. Janice is survived by her brother Richard Moore and sister Mary Blakemore. She is further survived by her three children: John Phillips Jr. of Wheaton, Maria McCarthy of Chicago and Ryan Phillips of Oak Park. Janice is the loving mother-in-law to Jeannine Phillips and Dennis McCarthy, as well as four grandchildren: Sophia Phillips, Jack McCarthy, Mary Ann McCarthy and Patrick McCarthy. Visitation Monday, June 10th 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, June 11th, 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Philip the Apostle Church 1223 W Holtz Ave, Addison. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside
