Biography

Martha J. Allen, Beloved mother of Jarom (Hla), Jordan (Kim), and Jonathan (Shy); Loving grandmother of Hayson, Sonny, and Kai; Dear sister of Wayne and the late Joe; Cherished daughter of the late Chester and Lorraine Kloc. Martha was a kind, beautiful, and loving person who always put her friends and family first. She spent her career as an educator, helping children with learning disabilities. She loved to travel, whether it be to Poland, Utah, or a well planned family trip. Martha was a dedicated geneologist and impressive scrapbooker. Her faith in God was unwavering. She enjoyed baking, reading, and spending time with family. She loved her three boys and three grandchildren more than anything on earth. Throughout her wonderful life, Martha was challenged with far too many obstacles. But she was a fighter, a believer, and a survivor. Her resilience and perseverance is inspiring. She will be missed, honored, and loved forever. Visitation on Sunday, October 18th from 3:00-8:00 P.M. at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E Irving Park Rd (at Prospect), Itasca. Family and friends will meet for Celebration of Mass Monday, October 19th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Hubert Church, 729 Grand Canyon St, Hoffman Estates. Interment following at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
