Biography

On July 1st, Lillian peacefully passed away at her daughters home surrounded by her loving family. Lillian was born on February 14th to Nancy and John Odishoo. They were an Assyrian family where she was one of 4 sisters. She was raised in Chicago, IL where she later made her home and raised her daughter Patricia (Michael) and her late son, John (Patricia). She worked at AT&T for 35+ years with early retirement. Lillian enjoyed spending quality time with her 2 children, her 8 grandchildren (Scott, Jeff, Karen, Christine, Stephanie, Sue, John and Kevin) and 12 great-grandchildren (Madisyn, Garrett, Trent, Luke, Mia, Olivia, Baylie, Mollie, Kaitlyn, Savannah, Brandon and Connor). Lillian enjoyed traveling, good food, sweet treats, watching westerns and game shows, listening to Andrea Bocelli and cheering on her beloved Cubbies. We will always remember the laughter she brought through her many stories and how generous she was to her family. Lillian, lovingly known as Granny G and G.G. Gardner, will be truly missed and her memories will be in our hearts forever. We love you. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4 Visitation Saturday, July 6, 9:00 am until time of Service, 12:00 noon at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca. Interment private.
