Biography

Alan H. Martyka, passed away on July 15, 2016. Alan was an engineer in every sense of the word. Husband of 54 years to his loving wife, Carol; dear father of Ann (Jon), Michael (Priscilla), Susan (Peter), Karen (Kenneth) and Joan (Mark); devoted grandfather of thirteen. Cherished brother of Mike, Jack, Bob, Cathy and the late Madeline. Visitation Wednesday, July 20th, 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 21st, 8:00 a.m. until time of funeral, 9:30 a.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca to Holy Ghost Church. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
