Biography

Donna Rae Abell nee Okrey of Bensenville, IL, Born on December 13, 1934 and went home to our Father in Heaven on September 17, 2016 due to complications from a motor vehicle accident on September 6, 2016. She is survived by her children Gregory (Cyndi) Abell, Doug Abell and Kelly (Greg) Wood. She is the loving grandmother of Gregory and Eddie Abell and Alex (Lauren) Wood; cherished great grandmother of Christian and Carson Wood; sisters-in-law of Ann and Anita Okrey. Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar, her daughter Torey Ann, her parents Stanley and Eleanor Okrey, her brothers Ronnie and Paul Okrey and many other relatives and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation Friday 3-8pm at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Rd. Funeral Mass Saturday 10 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 145 E. Grand Ave, Bensenville; Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
