Biography

Domenico Ciucci passed away peacefully on April 29, 2020 at the age of 77. Domenico loved life and was happiest being surrounded by his family and friends. Domenico and his wife Gerri, of 54 years, both enjoyed traveling with their family. Loving father of Mara (Dino) Thanos, Laura (Bob) Tyler, Michelle (Jon) Woodring. Caring grandfather of Alicia, Andrea, Alexandra, and Athan Thanos, Monica, Johnny and Michael Tyler, Nolan, Barron, Aubrey and Colton Woodring. Dear brother of Elvira, Mario and Patrizia who still reside in Domenico's hometown; Lucca, Italy. Dear cousin and uncle to many. Long time parishioner of St. Peter’s the apostle church, and an active member of Mazzini Verdi Club where he enjoyed his poncino with friends. Domenico remained close to his roots through his passion for cooking authentic Italian cuisine and listening to Puccini’s operas. A Memorial Mass will be held later in the year when family and friends can gather once again.
