Biography

Marlene C. Mulhern age 88; nee Wells; returned home to our Heavenly Father on May 3, 2020. She was born in Tabor, Iowa on April 4, 1932 to Clifford and Bessie nee Lavoy. She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband, Robert J. D. Mulhern; sons, Williston “Bill” Cliver and Terrance “Terry” Cliver; brothers, Williston Garrett Wells and Howard Wells. She is survived by her 6 children; Deborah and Zdizislaw “George” Kordecki, Michael Cliver, Lawrence “Larry” Cliver, Kathleen and Roger Dykstra, Patrick Mulhern, Timothy and Magaly Mulhern and grandchildren, Sara Kordecki Kablack, Stacy Vaillancourt, Dawn Mougel, Samantha Marks, Krystal Bowers, Randy, Karl, Kathleen Cliver, Jennifer Lynn, Kris Casey, Frank Gosse, Paige Dykstra, Brian Dykstra, Chrissy Molaro,Katie Latta, Amanda Mulhern, Tyler Mulhern, Dillon Mulhern, Hollyann Mulhern, Aiden Mulhern, JC Cartegena, Hannah Mulhern and many Great Grandchildren. Marlene was an animal lover, loved playing her organ and had a delightful sense of humor. She will be missed by those who had the privilege enough to know her. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff of Florence Nursing Home in Marengo, IL for their love, support and care for Marlene. Due to the current CDC guidelines, there was a private ceremony on Thursday. A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer. John 14:27 27 I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart.
