Biography

Lynda Anne Pruyn Wade was born on June 9, 1947 in Itasca to Bernard and Ruth Pruyn. She died Monday, December 18, 2017 in Itasca. She volunteered her time over the years with Friends of Springbrook, Itasca Garden Club, PEO, Itasca Park District Board, and Alexian Brothers Cancer Institute. She worked at Forest View High School, FAA, Itasca Fire Department, and with her husband at James N. Wade Construction. She enjoyed spending her time in the garden and with family. Lynda is survived by her husband of 52 years, James; children, Michael (Kristin), Wendi (Keith) and Christopher (Jessica); grandchildren, Cody, Emma, Wade, Grayden, Katelyn, James, Owen and Carter; and brothers, Bernard (Barbara), Thomas (Nancy) and Robert (Shirley). Memorial Visitation Thursday 3 - 8 P.M., with a service at 7:00 P.M. at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca.
