Biography

Edwarda Anna Pawlikowski, age 78 of Wood Dale, Illinois passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 12th, 2018 at Alexian Brothers Hospice Residence after battling numerous health issues. Edwarda was the eldest daughter born to Edward and Janina (nee Musial) Niedospial in Krakow, Poland. Edwarda was a draftsman by trade in her homeland of Poland. She came to America in 1959 and worked for Zenith for nearly 20 years. Her passions included sewing, baking and gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Edwarda is survived by her daughter, Martha (Leo) Juarez; son, Mark; sister, Margaret (the late Anthony) Sliz; granddaughters, Jennifer (Alan) Blockhaus and Laura; great-grandchildren, Benton and Danika. Visitation Friday, April 20th 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca. Family and friends will meet Saturday, April 21st at 10:30 a.m. for the Celebration of the Mass at Saint Zachary Church 567 W Algonquin Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
