Biography

Frances M. Wiesneth, nee Culotta, age 82; passed away peacefully at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove with her children at her side. She died of a broken heart after the loss of her husband, Gene, who passed away in June. Frances was born in Chicago, IL, daughter of Joseph and Frances (nee Dugo) Culotta and was one of 13 children. She met Gene, the love of her life at the family pizza pub in Fox Lake and they were married in 1959. Seven children soon followed . She was a homemaker her entire married life and devoted to her husband and children. Beloved wife of 58 years of the late Eugene “Gene”. Loving and devoted mother of Joseph “Joe”, Mary, Cheryl, Charles “Chuck” (Cheryl), Patricia “Patty” (John), Peggy and Michael; dear grandmother of Brian, Emma, and Nicholas. She is survived by a brother, Joe, sisters Jeanette (Bill) and Angeline, brother-in-law, Don Fiebrandt, and sister-in-law Carol Culotta; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Her family will miss her deeply. She will be remembered for her hard work ethic and large family including two sets of twins. She leaves behind many cherished memories. Visitation Tuesday 3:00-8:00 p.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Ghost Church 254 N. Wood Dale Road, Wood Dale. Interment Saint Isidore Cemetery.
