John T. Birkett age 69; Beloved soulmate of Alice Birkett. Loving father of John (Jenny) Birkett and stepfather of Christine Kuemper, Pamela Gannon and John (Kylee) Logan; devoted grandfather of Cade and stepgrandchildren, Megan, Grant, Gwendolyn, Greyton, Jack and Oliver; Loving son of the late Raymond and Josephine Birkett; dear brother of Mary Bernadette (George) Wendt, his twin brother, Robert “Bob” (Carol), Raymond (Julie), Joseph (Patti), Mary Alice (John) Antoniolli, Thomas (Patty), Christopher (Penny) and the late Daniel Birkett and Mary "Colette" Birkett (Renzo). Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Proud veteran of U.S. Army. Visitation Sunday 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca.
